Here’s an airbrush painting (one of only a few attempts at this painstaking technique) using Dr. Martin's Dyes on illustration board. The original photo on which the painting is based was taken at the Ave. U station on the BMT line not far from my boyhood home. The graffiti was the most fun - totally improvised (and no, I never did it for real)!
