Lower Manhattan from Brooklyn
This painting is a favorite of mine; it captures the feeling one gets when seeing NYC from the Brooklyn waterfront - pre 9/11, (the North Tower of the WTC appears in the upper left corner). The older, brick tiered buildings appear in the foreground while the newer, glass skyscrapers appear in the mid and background (the old and new city scape). The Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge stand guard - as they do to this day.

Anne, Thanks so much! This is really the first time I've put my art out there in this type of venue (ImageKind). Very happy to receive positive feedback such as yours (; I visited your Sunny Sites web page and I must say - very beautiful! I particularly like the Treasures of the Ocean images - these take me to another place, very peaceful and inspiring. Take care and thanks again. CB
